It was originally written for Mac that exported to Windows. Patrick who wrote the program has had quite strong success with it. As with anything there are advantages and disadvantages. There is a slight problem in the after you hit return you end up with the next Word starting with a capital letter – I've tried playing around with this but the easiest thing to do is to adjust the formatting later. There are multiple export functions but essentially the program timestamps the output but of course you can export a text file without.
